Mount Shasta is well known for the high number of exceptional artists and galleries. The Fourth Friday Art Walk offers an opportunity for locals and visitors to sample the many downtown galleries, which are located within a three block radius, interspersed with excellent restaurants and cafes. Come to Mount Shasta for the entire weekend - there are affordable places to stay within blocks of the downtown area, and great camping and bed and breakfasts.
